Safety

Description of title unit:

  The aim of this unit is to make students aware of the importance of safety in our lives. Students are encouraged through small projects to research the devastating affect of ignoring safety rules and how lives and consequently families can be destroyed . Students are expected  to come out of this unit appreciating the following points

1. The impotance of safe practices within workplace .

2.of using  of safety clothing to prevent accidents .

3.The effect of accidents related to non-safe practices on the economy.

5. The emotional and social impacts of the accidents related to non-safe practices .

Students are expected to think about the following questions:

1. why safety first?

2.what are the negative impacts of non-safe practices.

3. what types of safety clothing we normally use in different situations.
