Biographical Statement: Husam Qasrawi
Husam Yousef Qasrawi is the Planning, Development and Quality head of Department at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie in Palestine. He’s been working in the field since 2004. His main work focuses on improving teaching/ learning process by implementing Quality Criteria Procedures and monitoring documentation of all activities. He has good experience in project management and feasibility study. Also part of his work is to initiate projects of self assessment and strategic planning where different courses of improving the quality of education are introduced. In this field later a course of e-learning was held to improve the skills of professors and lecturers in the field. He worked earlier in the field of Technical and Vocational Education as a teacher and administrator. His study was mainly in the field of Electronic Engineering. He worked in curriculum development with the MOHE and he has many publications (Textbooks) for Technology Education for the industrial stream (Grades 11 and 12). He established the Education Technology Center in and now establishing a new center for educational resources and multimedia. He worked with ETF in a project for Euro MED countries to enhance the quality of technical education. Also he is member in Entrepreneurial Learning steering committee at PTUK and accomplished the internal auditing for EL at the university. He was born in 1960 in Palestine.
